Have you ever heard of a SBS Challenge? I hadn't. It stands for Step-by-Step. Basically, every day the challenge leader will give you one step to complete for the day. When all steps are complete, you have a completed layout without feeling overwhelmed or having to set aside a large block of time.
Best of all, the directions are generally very detailed, so if you're a newbie scrapbooker your page will look just as good as the scrapbooking pros.
Go get creative today!

Hi Colleen - I was trying to remember if I have met you or not. I worked for the Dexter Area Chamber of Commerce for a year, as the Marketing Director. I was an elected official in the area for about six years. Also, I am active in a Dexter area church, as well as Dexter Community Schools.
But I think the scrapbooking connecton might be it. I migh have met you at some networking event, and perhaps you were there as a Creating Memories representative.
My sister is quite an active scrapbooker.
Anyway, I liked the simple yet powerful advice of "SBS". I recently (finally) figured how best to organize my overly matrixed calendar, (took me close to twenty years of workshops, books, classes, and coaching), so that I can get the most done, with the bext balance, without wearing myself. And the solution is basically an SBS approach. It really works, we need to do bite-sized pieces in everything we do.
I hope to stay in touch with your blog, and perhaps see you around town.
One more thing, I appreciate the posting of your network, and their business web sites. Very cool. I would be interested in talking to you about this as well, as I am well-networked and might have some people that might be good connections for you.
Best Regards.
Hi Gordon. I attend the women's explorer's group most Tuesday mornings at UMC. Maybe that's where you've seen me.
Sounds good Colleen. Thanks for the reply.
My SBS approach has helped me get a handle on my finances, as well. I found it works better for me, to take my cash flow management in small chunks, as well. From doing a lot of contract-type work, I do not have a steady stream of income.
Again, it took me years of trying lots of different things, before I figured this out. Either stubbornness, or an inability to grasp how my money was working.
Every now and then, I find myself falling into old patterns that did not work. I have gotten to where I recognize this the very instant I begin to lapse. The problem has always been heeding those warning signals in my head. More to the point, my problem has always been that I would ignore warning signals, and continue on with an approach that has never worked in the past (and that usually ended up costing me additional time or money). Why do we do this?
Anyway - thanks again for the reply. Be sure to say "Hello" if you happen to be at DUMC when I am in the Praise Band!
Have a great weekend.
Gordon
